Fibula Fracture Distractor Tool

This device makes it much simpler for the surgeon to distract the fibula (which is the most commonly broken bone in ankle fractures) and obtain the appropriate length for the fracture reduction. This is especially helpful when the surgery occurs some time after the injury.  Normally this step would take between 2-3 different assistants working in unison and this new device allows the surgeon to do it alone.

Dr. Harris has also worked together in creating various instrument sets and devices for many orthopedic companies.
